Dr. Brooksher: 

Although I graduated from dental school in 1978, my dental education has very much been a continuing  process.  I have developed a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, the foundation for which began for me over 30 years ago, and continues to grow today with each person I treat.  It is so exciting to practice dentistry today with all the possibilities we can offer to help people become healthier and enhance the beauty of their smiles!

My 20 years in dentistry has afforded me many opportunities to serve in both administration and clinical positions. Although serving as practice administrator, I am more visible to clients in my role as patient care facilitator. Helping you become healthier is what makes dentistry meaningful and fulfilling for me. After gaining an understanding of your expectations and concerns I can help you create a plan to get healthier. My bias toward health and action will always encourage you to make healthy choices. During my 28 years as a clinical assistant I have had the opportunity to experience dentistry in various settings: pediatric dentistry, endodontics, general and cosmetic dentistry. I have been a member of Dr. Brooksher’s team since 1996. My goal is to make your experience as comfortable as possible!

I grew up in Baton Rouge, attended LSU, and graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 2003 with a diploma of Dental Hygiene.  After working in New Orleans for a few years, I moved back home to Baton Rouge, where I have been working with Dr. Brooksher since 2008.
